Kasuri Methi Paneer
Ingredients:
1 cup paneer, cubed
2 tablespoons oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
2 tablespoons dried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri Methi), crushed
Salt to taste
Fresh cream for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add garlic paste and ginger paste, and sauté for another minute.
Stir in pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add paneer cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Crush Kasuri Methi between your palms and sprinkle over the dish. Mix well.
Garnish with fresh cream if desired and serve hot with rice or bread.
